The biggest update since launch. There's now a marketplace, a discussion thread on every film, and a much faster way to get your shelf catalogued.
Sell what you don't need
Anything on your shelf can be listed for sale in about twenty seconds. Set your price, condition, and how far you'll post, and buyers message you directly through the site.
- Browse everything for sale under Market
- Message sellers without handing over your email
- Film pages now show who's selling that release
- Mark things sold or withdraw a listing whenever you like
Payment and postage are arranged between you and the other collector. We don't hold money and can't refund anyone, so use a payment method with its own protection when you're not meeting in person.
Talk about the pressings
Every film now has a discussion thread. Anyone who owns that release gets an "owns it" badge next to their name, so you can tell at a glance whether someone actually has the disc they're describing.
Adding films got much faster
- Search by title when adding. Type "Jurassic Park 1993", pick it from the list, and the year, cover, cast, runtime and IMDb rating fill themselves in
- Barcode scanning now works properly on desktop webcams, not just phones, with a camera picker and a photo-upload fallback for cameras that can't focus close enough
- Barcode lookups no longer depend on eBay, so they work today
What your shelf is worth
The value on your dashboard now comes from what collectors here actually paid, and every figure says where it came from. That's a floor rather than a market rate, because collectors hunt bargains. Real market prices arrive once eBay pricing is switched on.
There's also a proper chart now, with 7-day through all-time ranges, sitting next to your most valuable titles.
